About FTS Lighting…on Television
Richard Bowles, the Director of FTS Lighting, has worked in Television since 1998.
Initially starting as a specialist Moving-Lights Programmer (Console Operator) for Chart, Childrens, and Quiz shows, he now mostly works as a Lighting Director in his own right across a wide range of genres, although can still be found as Console Operator on occasions.
As part of this, he has served on the committee of the Society of Television Lighting & Design (STLD) since 2003, and has been their Secretary since 2009.
